The defeated can "lead India" to only one thing: defeat

A-ha. So we now have a Times of India "Lead India" winner (whatever that means), Sanjiv Kaura, get centre-space on yesterday's edition of Times of India to further the nonsense that Indian languages are fit only as vehicles of "our richest cultural expressions".

Arabic Maths Vocabulary

Most Arabic teaching focuses on Arabic grammar and vocabulary, and many students miss on some details, e.g. technical vocabulary like simple math terms. In this post, I try to fill this gap by presenting the Arabic words for some mathematical symbols and terms.
Addition = جمع
Subtraction = طرح
Multiplication = ضرب
Division = قسمة
Equation = معادلة
Problem = مسألة
