Weird behaviour of a website

I have a really weird behaviour of Drupal on the website http://montedigrazia.i-iter.org after having been moved to a different server. Nothing has been changed in the settings or database structure.

Copying the description from a private chat here:

the actual problem is that now all languages of albums are shown - before this worked. Then then number of images in an album is shown in the active language only, but not in the other languages. Before it only showed the album in the relative language (German/English/Italian etc.)
[Do. Sep 3 2009 09:36:58] … the here
http://montedigrazia.i-iter.org/it/category/gallerie-dimmagini/appartamento-vacanze when you change language the language for the pictures does not change - before this worked

[Do. Sep 3 2009 09:40:04] … as for the single pictures the language switch works fine

[Do. Sep 3 2009 09:45:25] … further
http://montedigrazia.i-iter.org/it/category/gallerie-dimmagini/wine - if you look at Italian: it points to "wine", but in the Taxonomy the language in sindicated correctly to English
[Do. Sep 3 2009 09:46:05] … in the worst case, if I only knew it worked, I would also add all pictures and the whole taxonomx from scratch

[Do. Sep 3 2009 09:46:47] … but before that I have to copy the translations done - fact is: I don't have any way to make sure that by deleting and resetting everything from scratch things will work fine
[Do. Sep 3 2009 10:02:06] … almost fogot: the localization of the single images works correctly
[Do. Sep 3 2009 10:02:28] …

[Do. Sep 3 2009 10:05:26] … Random image on the right hand side works correctly

Some first answers: sabine,

Some first answers:

sabine, that does seem odd
have you cleared cache (manual drop of table contents?)
kthoma_vh_ I will ask my colleague who does the database
part and come back to you asap
yeah, that's allways the first thing to do when drupal behaves
in a strange way!
;) at least my best suggestion
assuming server config is the same

another

another suggestion:

@sabineeller do you still have the output of php_info from the old server? can your run a diff of the old and new version?

I have switched serers many

I have switched serers many times and for the most part you should be able to clone enviroment to the T
DB to DB , ini to ini
the only things that are uber important is that your php and mysql stay the same
version that is
jmfcool - mysql should be the same, but well ... I better ask if not, I suppose I have a problem

also another issue is that

also another issue is that if the DB was installed from a client it could have currupted it
I would suggest installing it from the command
mysql -u -p
USE database
then I believe it is --help
something like ./ path to sql file
