[Shtooka] [Ambaraloader] Collecting words to pronounce (and translate) with kids
The other day we said that it would be useful to also have
pronunciations done by kids. Well mine are having their first
experiences working with a headphone. But which words to pronounce? Just
getting them a list created out of online texts does not work here, so
we took a copybook and made one page per letter.
There we simply started to add the words that came to mind and from
there we created the first list for pronunciations. Then we printed this
list on paper, in alphabetical order and just leave the pages around.
Every now and then, we sit there on the table for some minutes, just
adding words they know and therefore should also pronounce well. The
words on the list are also added on Ambaraloader. Marco added 10 today
and will do some more tomorrow. Luna still is not attracted by writing
and prefers pronouncing.

Today we also started to collect German and Neapolitan words for them to
pronounce ... let's see how this will go.
I just wanted to write this down, because I know we will have such
situations over and over again. Just start to write the single words on
a piece of paper - that way we reached approx. 400 words in Italian in
two days.
It will be fun to see their reactions when people start to add
translations :-)
Double entries? Well yes, we probably will have them. Today I checked
all German entries and found two that were "real doubles" and so I
merged them. Every now and then this needs doing until we don't have
Ambaradan life.

Hi Cristina, the message was stuck in the queue ... sorry. Well we will use the list a lot during the next weeks, so this should not happen again.Cu, Sabine2009/5/17 Cristina <cristina_difrenna@yahoo.it>
