eng - Nikolay after surgery

I received various question concerning how Nikolay is: he had his surgery on 22 January. In addition to the original diagnosis he ad a second problem which was resolved, but needs to be still checked every day. It was a fistula just to mention it. The treatment now is obviously different and the original amount calculated of 6900 EUR became more. 

Nikolay is fine, but like I said before he needs to be checked frequently. When he goes back to Ukraine he will need to remain some more time in the hospital there.

In the meantime we are trying to do everything possible for his adoption and so again we have very, very little time to dedicate to the "story around him" and to comunicate with people. We are really sorry, because we know that you are waiting for these news and maybe you think we are behaving in a non proper way: but our actual problem is that we only have 24 hours at disposal and we now also need to find the funds to cover at least the actual expenses.

So what you can do immediately is collecting funds and send them to "Kleine Herzen" (little hearts), an Austrian organisation caring about Ukrainina orphans.

Whatever amount it is: it helpls. 

Sending stuff: right now it is not a good idea, because he could not take this back to Ukraine. But it would really be a good idea if you sold your things/clothes etc. which are second hand and would give what derives from that to him.
