Hmmmm ... I just noted that we need to add a category here ... that is: general, because this blog is quite a personal post and so it does not match what we have now. Anyway: I used places, because the place I am talking about is my kitchen :-)

Yesterday night I came back from Turin where I was with a local wine producer at the "Salone del Gusto" which aims to promote regional products from anywhere in the world trying to protect varieties which eventually are endangered. Regional and endangered products are very much connected to regional languages. The results I got from discussions with various people are plenty and so I chose to just tell you three of them.

I just read a letter to a newspaper by a parent who is quite concerned about the future education of his son because today is not yesterday and having one teacher in primary school teaching the whole group of pupils is much more complicated that it was before. The sociocultural context where the pupils come from nowadays is very different.
